![]() Does anyone have any info on this gun? I dont know how to grade its condition, but would think it would be at 90 to 95%. All three pieces have the same serial number. There is absolutely no indication that it has been shortened. I have grouse hunted with it here in Ky and in Wisconsin for two or three years using low brass modern ammo, no problems The only difference in the info is that it has 26" barrels Cylinder and cylinder bore. no pitting or rust anywhere, and the wood and checkering is good with no dings, the inside of the barrels look new, and guys it is as tight as if it was produced yesterday. Dosent appear to ever had any bluing, just a gray look. ![]() Annie Oakley shot a Flues, as did John Phillip Sousa, quoted as saying, A good gun, a good horse, a pretty girl and a little music on the side. A dozen years later, Ithaca bought the patent, upgraded it to mass machining and produced guns that still bear his name. The chain pattern is visible on the barells, however it is faint. In 1895, he was granted Patent 546,516, only three moving parts per barrel. The Right barrell has Smokless powder, the reciever has the pointing english setter, It is all origional including the butt plate. It has the exact looks and info of this 16gauge except the serial number places it as a 1922 production date. Hi Guys I just stumbled on this posting while searching for info on a Ithaca side by side 12 gauge.
